Martin "Marty" Louis Ventrella, Jr., of Williamstown, NJ, died peacefully on June 10, 2023.

He was born on March 6, 1957, in Paterson, NJ.  He was the last of 4 children to Martin Louis Ventrella Sr and Eleanor (Thaler) Ventrella.  Marty graduated from Passaic County Tech High School and had a long career as a flavor supervisor at Givaudan Chemical Company.

Marty will be remembered for his love of animals, music, and baseball (NY Yankees).  He rescued bulldogs from the MidAtlantic Bulldog Group and was always making sure the birds had plenty to eat in the backyard.  He loved children and when he lived in Williamstown, all the neighborhood kids learned to swim in the pool at his house.  He was so kind and generous with a wonderful sense of humor.

Marty leaves behind the love of his life, Cheryl Spratt, and his sisters, Barbara Ryba and Marion Cardell along with nieces Melissa Ryba, Kris Cardell and nephews Paul Ryba and Alan Cardell, and many great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.
