Mary Ellen Scott (nee Rode), of Millville, NJ, age 76, passed away on February 28, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, Mary Ellen was a long-time resident of South Jersey before relocating to Ocala, FL for many years before returning to Millville.  She formerly worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home.

Mary Ellen had a love for angels, playing bingo, travelling and taking trips to the casino.  She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary for Amvets in Ocala, FL, where she enjoyed supporting veterans.

Beloved daughter of the late Mary T. Lochner (the late Stanley) and the late Stephen Rode.  Devoted mother of Shawn P. Scott (Stacy), Christopher L. Scott (Corinne), the late Richard E. Scott, and the late Wendy Scott.  Loving grandmother of Sabrina, Haileigh, Deven, Julian, and Eli.  Dear sister of Stephen Rode (Florence), Robert Rode, and Thomas Rode (Diane).  Life-long friend of Roddie Murphy.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, March 10th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM.  Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
