Max E. Sprinkle, age 91, of Clayton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on October 9th, 2026. Born and raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina, he has lived in Clayton since 1962.

Max was an active member of the Assembly of God churches in Deptford and Sewell, NJ for 41 years. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Pennsauken, NJ before retiring in 1989.

He had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in camping, fishing and spending time surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. But above all, his greatest passion was his unwavering faith in the Lord and his dedication to outreach ministry. He had a heart for sharing God’s love, helping others, and spreading the message of hope and salvation.

Beloved husband of the late Lillian M. Sprinkle (nee Hutchinson). Devoted father of Judith Leone (Michael Leone) of Buffalo, NY, James Sprinkle (Deborah Smith-Davis) of Sewell, NJ, Patricia Tunstall (Robert Tunstall) of Clayton, NJ and David Sprinkle (Elena Sprinkle) of Williamstown, NJ. Dear grandfather of 9 and loving great-grandfather of 19. He is predeceased by his brothers William Sprinkle, Jr. and Gene Sprinkle, of North Carolina.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, October 17th, from 6:30 – 7:30 PM, at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ. A memorial service will begin at 7:30 PM.
