Nancy J. Durand (nee Benson), 85, of Buena Boro, NJ, passed away on March 23, 2025.  Born in Greensburg, PA, she has lived in Buena Boro since 1966.

Known to many as "Fancy Nancy" she enjoyed wearing her jewelry. She was a very generous and caring person.  She enjoyed bird watching and enjoyed investigating people and things.

Beloved wife of 59 years to Louis M. Durand, Jr.  Devoted mother of Scott Durand (Tammy), Brian Kevin Durand (Sharon), Debbie Lackey, Louis Durand III, Tim Durand, Jim Durand and the late Karen Durand.  Loving grandmother of Anthony (Meghan), Danielle (Justin), Brianna and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Loving daughter of the late Frank Benson and the late Emma Benson.  Dear sister of the late Frank Benson (the late Dot).  Dear sister in law of Carol Perrelli (the late James) and the late Robert Durand.  Also survived by special family members Ron, Nicole & Alexis Mosley, her many nieces, nephews and best friend of many years Jessie Lombardi.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
