Obituary

Nancy Rivero, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 18, 2026, at the age of 65.

Born in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Nancy grew up in Levittown, where she spent her early years before building a life centered around the people and things she loved most.

Nancy was a kind and sensitive woman with a generous heart. She was always willing to help, coffee in hand, and rarely had a bad mood to share. She brought her own little bit of happiness into the everyday moments of life and had a way of making those around her feel comfortable and cared for. Her contagious laugh could brighten a room and always seemed to bring a smile to those around her.

Above all, Nancy loved her family. She treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren and was naturally nurturing and caring. She had a special way of making the people she loved feel looked after and never hesitated to be there when someone needed her.

Nancy found joy in the simple things in life: painting, watching the ID Channel from her nice, comfy rocking chair, Betty Boop, and listening to Elvis Presley. These little comforts brought her happiness and will forever be part of the memories her family holds dear.

Nancy is survived by her loving son, Joseph Rivero Jr. (Joann), and daughters Christina Jones (Bernard), Catherine Rivero (Mike), and Andrea Leighton (Sean); her grandchildren, who knew her as Nana: Vanessa Bickle, Luciano and Vitto Varner, Michael, Brandon, and Kaylee McClure, and Rosalynn Leighton.

She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Patricia Nazian (Leon), and their children, Leon, Jason, and Jared; her brother, Bob Criblear (Judy), and their children, Sabrina, Bobby, and Billy, along with many other loved ones including Ryder and Nyckee who will miss her dearly.

Nancy is reunited with her father, Raymond Criblear; her mother, Dorothy Criblear; her brother, Raymond Criblear; her grandson, Niccolo; her nephew, Trevor Nazian; and her niece, Tricia Nazian.

Nancy’s unwavering dedication to her family and her caring spirit touched the lives of so many. She will be remembered for her kindness, sensitivity, generous heart, contagious laugh, and the little things that made her unique.

Her passing leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will carry her love with them. Though she is deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

A private memorial service will be held with immediate family and close friends.
