Owen Cassidy McAlack, age 39, of Charlottesville, VA, originally from Williamstown, NJ, passed away on July 26, 2023.

Owen studied at Virginia Tech and was self-employed providing programming and IT products and services.  He also worked for University of Virginia Hospital.

His passion was music, he loved to DJ and play the guitar.  Owen also had a love for birds; he enjoyed watching them and identifying the species.

Beloved son of Kathleen McAllister (Bernie) and Kenneth McAlack (Jeanne).  Loving brother of Ashley McAllister.   Owen is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and was in a loving relationship with Anna Gaines Hunter.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
