Patricia E.
Dease
December 15, 1942 – November 5, 2024
Patricia E. Dease (nee Husak), age 81, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on November 5, 2024.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Pat later lived in Blackwood, NJ, before settling in Franklinville. She honorably served her country as a secretary in the United States Army. Pat had a lifelong passion for early childhood education. She played key role in the beginning phases of the Rowan University Daycare, where she later retired as the Early Childhood Director. Over the course of her career, she earned the affectionate nickname "Teacher Pat" from the children and families she cared for. Her legacy of nurturing and educating children will be cherished by all who knew her.
Outside of her professional life, Pat had two great loves: the beach and dogs. She adored spending time in Ocean City, where the ocean's breeze and the sound of the waves brought her peace and joy. Pat also had a special place in her heart for dogs, and she was a dedicated pet owner who always found comfort in their companionship.
Devoted mother of David J. Dease (Nancy Bedard), Daniel J. Dease (Amanda), and Deven J. Dease (Pamela). Loving grandmother of Kyle, David, Cody, Danielle, and Austin. Adoring great grandmother of Mikayla and Brantly. Dear sister of Jim, Ray Swartz (Maureen) and Mary Derosa.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, November 13th from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown. A graveside service will be held at 12:45 PM at All Saints Cemetery, 1300 Tuckahoe Road, Franklin Twp.
