Patricia A. Esworthy (nee Cornwall), 80, of West Collingswood Heights, NJ, passed away on December 8, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
Born and raised in Camden, NJ, she lived in West Collingswood Heights for over 50 years. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In her early years, she worked as a cashier for Pathmark until she had children. She stayed at home and raised her three children along with her husband, Bob. Once her children went to school, she worked at the snack stand in City Hall in Camden, NJ. She was also a Hall Monitor at Haddon Township High School. Patricia worked and retired from Maksin Management Corp. in Merchantville, NJ. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, and she had a meticulous eye when doing so. More than anything, Patty loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She treasured the time she spent with them.
Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Esworthy, Sr. Devoted mother of Lois Kester (Paul), Patricia Voigt (Bob), and Robert Esworthy, Jr. (Christy). Loving grandmother of Bobby (Kassie), Michael, Lauren, Robert, III, and Lyla. Treasured daughter of the late Walter and Anna Cornwall. Dear sister of the late Walter Cornwall (Maryann), the late Raymond Cornwall, the late Kay Esworthy (the late Michael), Constance Weatherhead (the late Donald), Ronald Cornwall (Linda), the late Victor Cornwall (Su), Helen Sharp (the late Albert), and Elaine Markward (the late Thomas). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, December 13 th from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
