Paul F.
Donahue, Jr.
January 11, 1956 – March 22, 2022
Paul F. Donahue, Jr., age 66, passed peacefully on March 22, 2022 at his home in Plainfield, NJ while surrounded by family and friends.
Paul was born in Philadelphia, PA but raised in Glendora, NJ before settling with his family in Williamstown.
Paul was a man of many hobbies and interests, all of which seemed to evolve around his 5-acre property. An avid classic car collector, skilled carpenter and master electrician, Paul had a knack for building nearly everything from birdhouses to the home his family lived in for over 30 years with his own two hands.
Paul had a true gift for looking at the glass of life half full and in his famous words, had "never had a bad day." His positive attitude was infectious and seemed to impact the lives of everyone he ever met. He leaves us as the greatest of friends but, most importantly, the greatest of fathers.
Beloved husband of the late Carol E. Donahue (nee Young). Devoted father of Ahna J. Donahue. Dear brother of Helen Scherle (Michael) and Jeanette Carelli (James). He is also survived by a special four-legged friend, Max, two adopted sons, Denzel Jones and Todd O'Rourke, and four adoring nieces and nephews, Mark, Valerie, Jennine and Nicholas.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ 08094, where a memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM.
