Raymond W. Burgess, age 85, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on June 7, 2022.

Raymond was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam and Korean Wars.  He started his career as a software support specialist at RCA, continued through the transition with Martin Marietta, retiring from Lockheed Martin after many years.  Raymond was also an electrician.  He enjoyed flying and all things aviation and space.

Beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. Burgess (nee Boylan).  Devoted father of Diana Burgess and Patty Scott (the late Ernie, Sr.).  Loving grandfather of Ernie Scott, Jr. (Teresa) and Jennifer Luck (Austin).  Great grandfather of Ava Lynn Scott, Eve Marie Scott, Weston Chase Luck, and Hunter Scott Luck.  Dear brother of Joyce Miller and the late Frances Lewis (the late James).  He was predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret Burgess. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, June 14th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
