Raymond D. Dougherty, Jr., 61, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on May 24, 2024.  Ray grew up in Washington Twp. and has lived in Williamstown for 30 years.

Ray was a graduate of Washington Twp. High School, Class of 1980.  He worked as a plumber for Mark Smith Plumbing in Clayton.  He loved music and was an avid sports fan.

Beloved husband of 26 years to Kathleen Dougherty (nee Collins).  Devoted father of Zachary Dougherty (Darian), Nicholas Dougherty and Dan Morgan.  Loving grandfather of Autumn.  Dear brother of the late Michael Dougherty (Ericka), Dannette McIntyre (Joseph), Michelle Vitucci (James), Diana Jones (the late Edwin), Renee Wolf and Kelli Dougherty.  Loving son of the late Raymond Dougherty, Sr. and the late Dolores Dougherty.  Step father of Johnny Fordyce.  God father of Russell Reebenaker.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening May 30th  from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will follow at 8:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
