Richard B. Marter, age 82, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on October 7, 2023.

Born in Camden, NJ, Rich lived in Runnemede for 25 years before recently moving to Williamstown, NJ.

Rich retired after 30 years as a Captain in the Camden Fire Department, where he made many treasured friends that lasted his lifetime.  An avid sports fan and self-made political analyst, Rich also enjoyed music and dancing to the oldies with his favorite band "The Aquanets."

Beloved husband for 27 years to Carole A. Marter (nee DiVito).  Devoted step-father of Joseph Magner (Rhonda), Marc Magner, and the late Christopher Magner.  Loving grandfather of Nicholas (Gabrielle), Julian, Johanna (Brian), and Candace.  Great Pop Pop to Evan and Giordan.  He is also survived by his niece Martha Freeman and her family, along with his devoted friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a future date.
