Richard G. Parkes, age 42, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 9, 2024.

Richie worked as a Quality Control Manager for Martin Ackley in Atco, NJ.  A consummate outdoorsman, Richie cherished nature and his time spent in it.  Whether it was camping, hiking, paddle boarding, or biking, he loved to be outside.  He was also an avid long-distance runner.  Richard, the "lion heart," enjoyed traveling all over the world and loved spending time in Cape May.

Beloved son of Sharon & Joseph Vischoric and Richard Parkes.  Loving brother of Sharon Plower (Ric), Heather Vischoric (Jimi), and Jessica Vischoric.  Treasured uncle of Cassandra, Madelyn, Jazmin, Jameson, AJ, and Marco.  He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, March 18th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM.  Inurnment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Franklinville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richie's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
