Richard W. Wilson, age 83, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on June 22, 2026.

Raised in Glendora, NJ, Richard was a long-time resident of Williamstown. He proudly served in the US Navy. Over the years, Richard worked in many IT capacities for American Water Systems before retiring.

Richard was a true warrior in life, facing adversity with strength, courage, and determination. In earlier years, he enjoyed raising livestock, harvesting goods from the garden and continued his love for gardening throughout his life. Richard was a man of many talents, a “Jack of all trades” and was always willing to lend a hand to those around him. He was an avid boater and fisherman, finding solace on the water. Above all, he cherished his time spent with family.

Beloved husband of 59 years to Danna I. Wilson (nee Gifoli). Devoted father of Jacinda Wilson (John Frank) and Richard W. Wilson, Jr. (Tricia). Loving Pop Pop of Victoria Cartwright, Bobby Cartwright, Tyler Wilson, Alexis Wilson, Alaina Wilson, and Alyssa Clements. He was predeceased by his siblings Thomas Wilson, Bob Wilson (the late Sarah), and Carol Sue Tompkins (the late Dennis). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, June 30th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
