Rita Loretta Byers (nee Mangino), of Washington Twp., NJ, age 64, passed away on December 23, 2024.

Rita was born in Philadelphia and lived in Pennsauken before moving to Washington Twp.  She worked as an LPN for Bayada Home Care.  She enjoyed watching Eagles games, reading Facebook and nursing journals, coloring, walking around her neighborhood, going to Disney whenever she could. Above all, she cherished spending time with her friends and family.

Dear daughter of Anna Bednarchik (Anthony).  Beloved wife of Joseph Byers.  Devoted mother of Renee Heath (Stephen) and the late Robert Sabousky.  Loving grandmother of Joshua Heath and Kyle Heath.  Dear sister of Helen Mangino, Margaret Kaplan (Bill), Anthony Mangino, and the late Theresa Mangino.  Loving sister-in-law of Frank J. Byers (Linda).  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, January 3rd from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
