Obituary

Rudolph J Notaro, age 98, of Williamstown, NJ, passed peacefully at home, on October 30, 2024.

Rudolph was known to most as Rudy, but to his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and their friends, he was affectionately called, Whoppie. Rudy was a proud Navy veteran of World War II, retiring after 26 years of service. He worked in electronics for the US Naval Shipyard for 30 years. Rudy was a lifetime member of VFW post #1616 in Williamstown. He was a long-time parishioner at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Williamstown, attending services every Sunday. Rudy enjoyed reading, gardening, playing the lottery, and trips to Atlantic City. Most of all, Whoppie, enjoyed spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of the late Joan Notaro (nee Zdanowicz).  Devoted father of Maria Dangro, Jennifer Notaro, and the late Joseph Notaro.  Loving grandfather of Amanda Overstreet (Brandon), Timothy Dangro, Jr. (Christina), Emily Gudibandi (Bhaskar), Joan Notaro, and great grandfather of Jasmine, Ariel, Ayden, Taylor, and Scarlett. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Rd Williamstown.
