January 23, 1949 – May 17, 2023
Russell E. Fuscia, Jr., 74, a lifelong resident of Williamstown, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Russ was a graduate of Williamstown High School, Class of 1969. He served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard. He owned and operated Tuckahoe Tile, Inc. in Williamstown for many years. Russ was a member of Aura United Methodist Church and a former member of the Cross Keys United Methodist Church. He was very active in the community and belonged to many organizations. He was a member of the Williamstown Lodge #166 F&AM, where he currently was serving as Worshipful Master and served as Worshipful Master in 2002 and 2006. In addition, he belonged to the Glassboro Lodge #85, where he served as Worshipful Master in 2008, and the Pitman Lodge #97 where he served as Worshipful Master in 2013. Russ served as Grand Chaplain under Grand Master John Colligas in 2008. He was a member and served as Grand Tall Cedar of the Glassboro Forest, #1 in 2003 and 2011 for Tall Cedars of Lebanon, during which he held titles such as Clown President, Supreme Director (2008-2013), Supreme Chief Clown (2005-2006), DDSTC (2003-2007), and Foundation Trustee (2002, 2005-2007). Even with all of those accomplishments, Russ found the time to also attend Excelsior- Valley of Southern N.J. Scottish Rite 32 nd Degree, High Twelve International (President 2019), Shriners Noble, and American Legion Post #252, Williamstown. Russ enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a member of the Ruffians of the Widow Sons of NJ. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family which he cherished.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Linda G. Fuscia (nee Crawford). Devoted father of Russell Fuscia, III (Dana M.), Mario Fuscia, and March Norris. Loving grandfather of Amber Keister (Bryan), the late Dominique Lynn, Russell, IV, Maranda, Samantha Lemons, Lorenzo, Santino, Alessio, Savannah, the late Rebecca Faith, Angelena, Elisabeth, April and Amy Norris, and great grandfather of Adalynn and Bradley. Dear brother of the late Marlene Fuscia, Nora Fowler (the late Norman), Deborah Kay (Kevin), Barbara Polillo (Michael), and Cynthia Rousseau. Loving son of the late Russell Fuscia, Sr. and the late Francis Fuscia. Dear brother-in-law of David Crawford, Diane Strekis (Bud), the late Harry Crawford (the late Karin), the late Daniel Crawford, and the late Karen Proctor (the late Harry). Dear son-in-law of the late Rebecca Crawford and the late Harry Crawford.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, May 22 nd from 6:00 – 9:00 pm (Masonic Service 8:00 pm) and Tuesday, May 23 rd from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Cross Keys Methodist Cemetery.
