Obituary

Salvatore Castorina peacefully rested his eyes while surrounded by his family members and entered the Kingdom of God on July 17, 2024, at 60 years old.  Salvatore was born on January 18, 1964, in the city of Philadelphia. At a young age, Salvatore found his permanent home in Washington Township where he grew up with family and created long-lasting friendships.

As a husband, Salvatore shared a deep and enduring love with Julie Castorina (nee Gardiner), creating a life filled with joy and partnership. As a father, he was a guiding light to his children, Monique (Jim) Ervin and Taylor Castorina, always providing support, wisdom, and unconditional love. As a Pop pop, Salvatore brought endless joy and laughter to his grandchildren, Matthew and Jimmy, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Salvatore was also a devoted brother to Louanne Munoz sharing a bond that was both strong and unwavering. As a son, he honored his parents, Salvatore Castorina Sr. and the late Selly Castorina with respect and gratitude, embodying the values they instilled in him.

Salvatore had a deep love for his family, including his wife, daughters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister, and parents. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was relaxing in his backyard, watching movies, or simply lounging around. He had a special place in his heart for his animals and loved going out to eat, especially at the diner. Family gatherings and outings were always filled with laughter and love, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

In his free time, Salvatore enjoyed cruising in his classic cars and attending car shows, driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and shooting at the gun range with his wife. These hobbies brought him great joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared his passions.

Salvatore was deeply dedicated to his business SCE Auto Cosmetics for 40 years, as he was always striving to deliver nothing but the best service to all of his dealerships. His commitment to excellence and his work ethic were admired by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
