Scott R. Mead, age 61, of Williamstown, NJ., passed away on August 17th, 2026. 

A devoted husband, hardworking man, and simple soul, he will be remembered for his genuine nature, strong work ethic, and quiet joys he found in everyday life. He worked for Local Union #172, and took great pride in his work. He enjoyed keeping his yard looking beautiful and spending time outdoors. He especially loved four-wheeling and making memories at the Atco Raceway. He had a special love for animals and wildlife. He adored his family and the life he shared with his beloved wife of 36 years. 

He will be deeply missed. Beloved son of the late Richard Mead (the late Diane) and Charlotte “Sherry” Mead (nee Christy) (the late Paul Schwartz). Devoted husband of Maria Mead. Loving father of the late Alexis Christina Mead and Jeff Mead. Cherished brother of the late Ronald and Troy Mead. Dear Grandfather of Jaida Mead and he is also survived by his in -laws, Martin and Lesley, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held privately at the request of the family. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Scott’s name to an animal shelter of your choice.
