Shirley L. Wittje (nee Weidman), age 79, of Spring Oak Assisted Living in Vineland, NJ, formerly of Atco, passed away on January 7, 2026.

In her younger years, Shirley worked as a talented hairdresser.  She later worked as the front desk receptionist at The Fountains in Atco, where she was dedicated to socializing and welcoming the residents and visitors.  Shirley was even known as the Spring Oak ambassador, welcoming new residents and giving them a tour.  She loved to play Bingo and listen to Neil Diamond.  A true nature lover, Shirley enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, and lovingly fed the birds and squirrels around her.  Above all, she cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Olive Weidman.  Devoted mother of Leigh Guglietti (Paul), Connie Klahn (Dan), Louis Wittje, Jr. (Lenora), and the late Frank Wittje, Sr.  Loving grandmother of Victor Jr., Paul Jr., Daniel, Brittany, Ashley, Nicholas, Louis III, Kayla, Frank Jr., and great grandmother of Kayliana, Chase, and Anthony.  Dear sister of Larry Weidman (Cathy), the late Lois Weidman, the late Carol Bridgewater, and the late Doris Pierce.  She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, January 14th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main St., Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM.
