Shirley Wright (nee Buckingham), age 97, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on June 18th, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin S. Wright, and daughter Sheila Riggs (Robert). She is survived by two daughters, Irma Smith (Kevin) of Ocean View, NJ, and Bess Harring (Ken) of Williamstown, NJ, and a son Edwin F. Wright (Joy) of Davenport, FL. Shirley was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Shirley grew up in Folcroft, PA and North Wildwood, NJ, before marrying and moving to Blackwood, NJ, where she and Edwin raised their children. While there, she worked as a cashier for A&P and was the organist for her church. Moving to Hollywood, FL, they were the owner-operators of the Sand Pebble Hotel on Hollywood Beach. Following several moves on Florida’s east coast, eventually they resided in Indiantown, before moving to Williamstown, NJ. Shirley will be remembered for her love of life, dancing and her beloved family. 

A Memorial Mass for Shirley will be announced at a later date.
