Obituary

Stanley N. Bennett, age 75, of Clayton, NJ., passed away on October 24, 2026 at home surrounded by his family.

Stan fiercely loved Jesus and spent his life pointing others to Him. He was a devoted family man, a man of strong faith, a United States Air Force veteran, and someone who touched the lives of many throughout his life. He was deeply involved in Trinity Christian Chapel, where he served on the church’s Elder Board and worked closely with the Christian Recovery Group, dedicating his time to supporting others and helping those in need. He spent many years working as a truck driver, first as an owner/operator, and then at Campbell’s Express in Pitman. Never one to sit still for long, shortly after retiring, he opened Bennett Firearms, where he built lasting relationships with customers, who became friends. Above all, he was a kind and caring man who absolutely adored his family and was loved by many.

Beloved son of the late Clive “Al” and Sara Bennett. Devoted husband of Betty Bennett (nee Aliberti). Loving father of Brian Bennett (Susan), Allison Moore (Aaron) and Karen Curcio (Anthony). Dear brother of Patricia Baer (Mark). Cherished granddad of Serafina and Sienna and uncle of 3.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, at Trinity Christian Chapel, 269 Greentree Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Stan’s name to the Trinity Christian Chapel at the address listed above. (Stan Bennett’s Memorial Fund Link: https://giving.servantkeeper.com/tcchapel)
