Stephen M. Kurek, age 81, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on August 11, 2026. Born in Chester, PA, he lived in Coatesville, PA, Linwood, PA and Prospect Park, PA before moving to Williamstown, NJ in 1983.

Steve was the manager of mechanical maintenance for Southwark Metal Manufacturing before retiring after 24 years of service. He enjoyed restoring and building cars, was a member of the Corvette community and was a classic car enthusiast.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Karen Kurek (nee McKeefery). Devoted father of Lisa Doherty, Stephen M. Kurek, Jr., Matthew Kurek (Melinda) and Katie Pierson (Niles). Loving grandfather of Dirk Doherty, Luke Doherty (Shannon), Steven Kurek, Niles Pierson, Aiden Pierson, Thomas Pierson and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Pierson. He also leaves behind extended family members and his two dear friends, Rick Miller and Heather Staller, who were fortunate to know and love him.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
