Theresa M. VanLeer (nee McNamara), 74, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on October 4, 2024.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, she lived in Washington Twp. before moving to Williamstown in 1977.

Mrs. VanLeer worked at the Monroe Twp. Library for 27 years, retiring as the Circulation Supervisor.  She continued to be involved with the Library, serving as a Board Member and volunteering with the Friends of the Library.  She was an active member of St. Mary's Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, where she served in many roles over the years.  She enjoyed going to Ocean City Maryland and crabbing.  She enjoyed family dinners, decorating for Christmas and other holidays.  She loved spending time with her family and supported her grandchildren in all of their activities.

Beloved wife of 55 years to George R. VanLeer, Jr.  Devoted mother of Pamela Eubanks (Scott), the late Amy VanLeer and the late Michelle VanLeer.  Loving grandmother of Lindsey Sowers, Jake Eubanks and Danny Eubanks.  Dear sister of Michael McNamara (Judy), Margaret Konzerowsky (Bodine) and Kathleen Domzalski (Michael).  Loving daughter of the late Michael McNamara and the late Eleanor McNamara.  Dear sister in law of Charlotte Todd (Stephen) and Carol McNamara.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, October 11th from 9:00 – 11:30 am at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 pm at St. Mary's Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, S. Main Street and Carroll Ave., Williamstown.  Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
