Thomas J. Convery, age 77, of Franklinville, NJ, formerly of Williamstown, passed away on September 25, 2021.
Tom was a US Navy Veteran, where he served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked as a truck driver for Caterina Supply in Williamstown, before retiring. Tom was a member of American Legion, Post #252 and formerly participated in the Mummer's parade with the Kensington String Band. He enjoyed sailing, watching Nascar and all Philadelphia sports teams.
Beloved husband of Carol F. Convery (nee Andrews). Devoted father of Kimberly Leighton (Kevin), Carol Williams (Craig), the late Thomas J. Convery, Jr., and the late Tammy Convery. Loving grandfather of Kevin, Jr., Darius, Kyle, Kellie, Craig, Kandice, and Celina and great grandfather of James, Carson, and Makenna. Dear brother of Kenneth Hill (Janet), Cheryl Sosnowski (Ted), Mark Hill (Laura), Kathryn Darden (Charles), the late Gregory Hill, the late Christine Hurley, and the late Francine Yeager. Dear son of the late Thomas Convery and the late Frances Hill. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and his fur baby, Minnie.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, September 30th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, where a service will be held at 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown. Cremation will be held privately following services.
