Veronica H. Vogelsang (nee Leitmeyer), age 65, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on August 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Abington, PA, and grew up in Sewell, NJ.
She was a strong woman, a true fighter who faced life's challenges head-on with determination. Her family was the center of her world, and she was deeply involved in their lives. She especially adored her grandchildren, finding endless joy in every moment spent with them. Veronica had a passion for creating beauty in her home and garden, spending countless hours crafting home improvement projects and drawing inspiration from her favorite HGTV shows. She had a love for gardening and she found joy in watching her flowers bloom year after year. She was a creative soul, she enjoyed coloring and relaxing with her favorite Fox TV shows in her downtime.
Beloved wife of the late Richard A. Vogelsang. Devoted mother of Krystal Navarro, Julia Fusco, Amanda Seals (Charlie), Theresa Williams (Nick Chinappi), and Alyson Vogelsang (Kyle Mellen). Loving grandmother of Charlie, Jr. Christopher, Zachary, Alyssa, Jayden, Hailey, Erin, Ethan, William, Kelsey, Emily, Anthony, Tiffany, and Julia. Veronica is a great-grandmother of 3. Dear sister of the late Albert J. Leitmeyer, Jr., Donald Leitmeyer, Mary Sue Pennington, and William J. Leitmeyer. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Joan Fitzpatrick; Father-in-law, Jim Vogelsang, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, September 5th from
10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will follow at 11:00. Inurnment will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
