Obituary

Her smile larger than any rainbow, her green eyes more vibrant than any blossoming flower, Verronyca Destiny Conley lit up this world in a way that made even the brightest of sunrises seem dull. Her presence and demeanor shone in compliment as the largest full moon in a night’s sky. Combined, they gave those around her a beacon of hope and guiding light through the hardest of times while also simply amplifying each good moment, making it something truly special.

Absolutely selfless, admirably positive, invariably optimistic and one to rely on, she always took on the "mother role" taking particular pride in her role as a big sister to Keon, Julian, Isaiah, Victoria, Precious, Jordan, Vanessa, and Veyonna. That is until she had the loves of her life, her two beautiful daughters Soraya and Soriyah.

Verronyca dedicated her life to her precious girls. Never wasting an opportunity, she turned every outfit, song, hair style, activity and everything else in between, into a special event. Ronny was truly happiest when making them happy. While taken far too soon, there is some solace knowing she had her dreams come true in the form of those remarkable young ladies whom she cherished dearly.

She was a devoted Christian and held to her faith. It was through that faith she found the strength to overcome all trials put in her path. Her strength is inspirational. That inspiration will forever bring about motivation. The motivation will cause countless changes in people's lives. Those that have changed through her example will pass down her illuminous spirit to all they come in contact with. Psalms 36:9 "For with you is the fountain of life; in your light, we see light."

Forever the guiding light, forever the Golden Child.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beautiful daughters, Soraya and Soriyah McDuffie, whom she cherished beyond measure; their father, Daniel McDuffie; her parents, Kristy Ricciardelli and Christopher Grady, and Brian Conley; her grandmother, Shirley Conley; her adored siblings; her deeply loved nephews; her many beloved aunts and uncles; dozens of cherished cousins; and countless devoted friends.

Verronyca is now reunited in Heaven with the many beloved souls who went before her, including her great-grandmother, Irene Ambrosia; her grandparents, Gary and Gail Ricciardelli; and her uncle and aunt, Rob and Pam Nicholson.

A celebration of Verronyca’s life will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Studio 10, located at 475 Hurffville-Cross Keys Rd., Unit 10B, Sewell, NJ 08080.
