William R. Gallagher, Jr., age 78, of Williamstown, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2022.

Bill was an educator for the Monroe Twp. Board of Education for 37 years, where he worked as a teacher, vice principal, and retired as an administrator.  Bill was a dedicated member of the Williamstown Fire Company for 57 years.  He served in many capacities, including chaplain for over 50 years, a former trustee, vice president, and president.  He was also a former member of the Monroe Twp. Police Reserves.  Bill was actively involved with the Hardingville Bible Church, and formerly with the Williamstown Methodist Church and Winslow Baptist Church.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Dorothy J. Gallagher (nee Henderson).  Devoted father of William R. Gallagher, III (Gretchen) and the late Nancy L. Perez (William).  Loving grandfather of Jacob, Madeleine, William, IV, and Caroline.  He is also survived by many loving friends and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, April 4 ^th from 9:30 - 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow in Williamstown Methodist Cemetery.
