Joseph G. Burrough, Jr., age 93, of Pitman, NJ, passed away at home on April 3, 2026, with his family by his side.  Born in Chews Landing, he lived in Cross Keys before moving to Pitman in 1982.

Joe graduated from Glassboro High School, Class of 1950.  He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.  Joe was a Shift Foreman / Supervisor for Owens Illinois in Glassboro for 40 years before retiring.  He formerly owned and operated with his wife Dianne 444 East Holly Ave. Apartments in Pitman for many years.  Joe was a Director Emeritus of the Gloucester County Federal Savings Bank.  He was a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #197 and the Excelsior Consistory in Collingswood.  Joe enjoyed NASCAR racing, traveling with his wife to many places, including Disney World with his family.  He enjoyed coffee at Geets Diner with his friends for many years.

Beloved husband of 29 years to Dianne L. Burrough (nee Smith).  Devoted father of Michael G. Lockman.  Loving grandfather of Deanna Lockman.  Dear brother of the late Ralph Burrough.  Loving son of the late Joseph Burrough, Sr. and the late Verna Burrough.  Joe was pre-deceased by his first wife Dolores Burrough (nee Nikolas) in 1986.

Services are being held privately per Joe's request.
