Lucas Paul DeGeorge, age 17, of Mickleton and Buena Vista Twp., NJ, passed away tragically on May 17, 2025.

Lucas was currently in his junior year at Buena Regional High School.  An honor student enrolled in advanced classes, he was both intelligent and driven.  He worked at ACME in Mays Landing and, in many capacities, helped his dad flip houses with the Veteran Home Project.

From a young age, he had a deep passion for soccer and played throughout his life.  Off the field, he found joy in simple pleasures – riding his bike, playing video games on the X Box, and hanging out with friends, often around a fire in the backyard.

He was a devoted brother and cherished time spent with his siblings.  A true sneakerhead, he had an eye for shoes and an admiration for cars, his dream ride was a Nissan 350Z.  His interests were as vibrant as his personality and his bright spirit touched the lives of many.  The love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Treasured son of Dominic DeGeorge (Dana) and Tiffany Lea (Justin McGuigan).  Devoted brother of Dominic DeGeorge, Michael Lea, GianCarlo DeGeorge, Vivien Lea, Skylar McGuigan and was predeceased by his brothers Xavier Neill and Declan Lea.  Dear grandson of Debbie & Dennis DeGeorge, Wendy Abbott, Scott Meyer, Tony & Elizabeth Marinari, and Paul & Diane Layng.  Cherished nephew of Danielle Douglas (Blake) and Melanie Meyer.  Lucas is also survived by many loving great aunts, great uncles, cousins and treasured friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, May 23rd from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
