Robert J. "Monk" Charlton, 85, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on November 12, 2021.

Robert enjoyed watching the Eagles, bowling, and dancing.  Most of all, he enjoyed time he spent playing with his grandchildren.

Beloved spouse of Barbara Smitheman.  Devoted father of Louis Charlton (Jackie) and Teresa Brown (Charlie).  Loving grandfather of Louis, Jr., Ella, Eden, Ryan, Kyra and Josh.  Dear brother of Chuck Charlton, Veronica "Sis" Beecher, Joanne Dugan and the late Michael Charlton.  Robert is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, November 17th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown. Private Cremation will follow.
